Koala Clancy Foundation & Avalon Airport are offering the free two-night package from the Gold Coast/ Hobart/ Adelaide/ Sydney to visit famous Koala Clancy, savour the natural delights of Geelong and the Bellarine and see the region by helicopter. There is one free trip for two offered from each of these airports: Gold Coast /Hobart/Adelaide/Sydney.

Wild Koala Day organiser Janine Duffy said the competition will be launched on May 3, International Wild Koala Day.

“The Geelong & Bellarine region is one of Australia’s best places to see wild koalas,” said Ms Duffy.

“The lucky winners will get a chance to see award-winning koala conservation in action, and car hire for three days to enjoy the diverse delights of the region,” she said.

“Winners will also receive a free private helicopter flight from Avalon Airport over the scenic Geelong waterfront with Avalon Helicopters.”

“The package includes two relaxing nights at one of three gorgeous properties in the Geelong region.”

“Entries open on May 3, Wild Koala Day and close May 30, 2017.”

“Winners can choose to travel any time between 15 June and 30 November 2017.”

Deputy Executive Director of Tourism Greater Geelong and the Bellarine, Brett Ince, says the organisation is excited to be one of the major supporters of this initiative.

“Research has shown that nature tourism is one of the growth areas for the Geelong & Bellarine region, both internationally and domestically,” he said.

“This package is a chance to see a famous community of wild koalas in the You Yangs, and contribute to their future.”

To enter, participants will need to answer a simple question about Koala Clancy and his family. The answer can be found on Koala Clancy’s facebook page and website.
